iPad Stylus
Although one of the major selling points of the iPad is its ability to work exquisitely without an iPad stylus or any other such device. Aside from that though there are several things to be said in favor of a iPad stylus as opposed to just using your fingers.
The first and perhaps most obvious thing in favor of an iPad stylus to anyone who has owned a high definition monitor, be it on their phone, iPod or laptop is that you can develop a real paranoia for finger marks on the screen. They’re almost impossible to completely wipe clean and there’s nothing worst then a big smudge on your movie. So although the iPad has been designed to work without the need for an iPad stylus the use of one is more the indicated.
The second case for the iPad stylus is the fact that as accurate as a touch screen may be it still won’t be as precise as a stylus can be. And this is no news for those who have already bought an iPad. Although in the beginning it can be fun to just use your fingers it becomes pretty fast that a iPad stylus would improve typing and the precision of the drawing capability a lot.
And the third argument for an iPad stylus is the fact that the once the gadget effect of using your fingers wears off you will discover that you were 5 the last time you tried finger painting. We are so used to using a pen or a brush when we put our ideas and feelings down on paper that it get to be very difficult to get used to using your own fingers so an iPad stylus can easily prove itself as being far more valuable.
Of course there are a few counter arguments of which the best is probably why so much effort has been put in to inventing touch technology. We like to touch, it’s easier to simply point with the finger, it does feel more natural. On the other hand you can use you iPad stylus for precision work and still enjoy the ability to work by touch on your iPad on a regular basis.
Also during your life you will misplace more pens than anything else so it is safe to presume you might easily misplace you iPad stylus. Luckily not only are they cheap but there are so many great offers out there that you might grow to enjoy losing them every now and again so that you can try something new.
